Patagonia 2011 – Chilean fjords

Leaving Puerto Montt on December 31 in gorgeous weather was a good start on the 3 nights/4 days’ trip that would bring us about 1500 kms down the Chilean fjords to Puerto Natales. The snow and ice covered mountains and volcanoes were majestic backdrops for parts of the town as we left the harbour. And the good weather with calm sea continued through most of our trip.
